Good Afternoon Bob, Per our conversation today, I simply could not let the day end without saying two words, “Thank you.” As you know, one of your techs, John, stopped at the house today, to check our three new units (which were just installed this past fall). Although we had the time to check the units to see if they were heating correctly in late fall, we had decided to check the A/C units later. Therefore, when I heard a strange clicking sound coming from one of the units a few weeks ago, I called you immediately. Bob, not only did you re-assure me that you’d check out the units, but you actually gave me an internal feeling of “peace of mind.” I say this only because I consider us to both be “old school.” In short, we grew up in an age where your “word” or a simple “handshake” meant something. At the same time, this is why I feel compelled to send you a note about the professionalism and the politeness that has been displayed, whenever one of your employees has stopped by our house. Seriously, even though you and I reminisced about the old days, I wasn’t sure if it was a fluke (pardon the expression), that your employees were so friendly and polite. Plus, and this might sound silly, but to a degree (especially with John’s visit and work today), it felt as though I had a long time trusted friend working in my home. He made sure that he explained everything to me, and told me exactly what he had done. Also, he made sure that if any sounds came back, that he was only a phone call away. Therefore, I feel obligated to thank you for being an employer who strives to settle for nothing but high standards in hiring employees. This reflects directly back on your morals and values.
